Give to DPD

The Department for Persons with Disabilities has grown and flourished over our 45 year history and with your help we can do more. We provide support for over 100 people with developmental disabilities throughout Passaic, Morris and Sussex County in New Jersey.

Your contributions allow us to:

  • Purchase needed household items for our group homes.
  • Make necessary program repairs and upgrades.
  • Support our recreational programs, which have empowered our residents to be active members of their communities.
  • Adapt to our aging population which has made it possible for our residents to "age in place."
  • Implement new services such as our Saturdays at the Center Program which has allowed us to provide opportunities for social interaction for young adults in the community.
  • Consider expanding our services. With over 8,000 people with disabilities on the waiting list to get into group homes in New Jersey, funds are needed to help the DPD serve more people.
