DPD's Father Patch Center (Administrative Offices), Julie A. Tatti and Thomas A. Barrett Activity Center and Swimming Pool and the Daniel McCoy Storage Facility are all located at Wiegand Farm in Jefferson Township, NJ.
Monsignor Stephen Patch was the longtime Pastor of St. Vincent the Martyr Church in Madison. For over 25 years he was the Chairman of our Casey Classic Golf Tournament which helped raise over $3,000,000 for DPD throughout its 35 years existence. The Father Patch Center is home to DPD’s Administrative Offices which include our Executive Team, Human Resources, Accounting, Nursing, Development, Maintenance, Pastoral Care, Volunteer, and Support Coordination Divisions.
Our Julie A. Tatti and Thomas A. Barrett Activity Center is named after 2 Past Executive Directors of DPD. Both Tom and Julie were “original” Murray House staff members back in the early 1970’s and have been part of the DPD Family for 50 years. The Center is home to a conference meeting area as well as a full-sized swimming pool, open year-round to DPD residents and staff.
Our Daniel McCoy Storage Facily was opened in 2014, named after longtime DPD Maintenance Employee. “Danny” is DPD’s longest tenured staff member, having worked with the agency for over 40 years. Danny is a Paterson native whose family first connected to Catholic Charities as members of Our Lady of Victories Parish. Danny joined DPD as a camper back in the 1960’s when the agency was known as the Department of Special Education. Back then, DPD ran summer day camps for children and teenagers with special needs. Danny was hired by the agency in the early 1970’s and has been employed with DPD ever since.
